Aurore Nugeron, French painter, initially explored fashion design and landscape art before returning to painting in 2008, picking up her grandfather’s brushes, himself an artist and gallery owner.
The artist has exhibited in prestigious venues such as the Salon d’Automne on the Champs-Élysées, the Salon des Artistes Français at the Grand Palais, and the Carrousel du Louvre, as well as in exhibitions in Shanghai and Bangkok.
Inspired by the Nabi movement, she maintains a sense of synthesis, while the Fauvist school has provided her with a vibrant palette. Through strokes of colorful vibrations applied with knives, Aurore Nugeron expresses the softness, sincerity, joy of living, and sparkle that the world offers.
She borrows from Nicolas de Staël extreme simplicity, carefully selecting either bright or muted tones.
Viewing her canvases fills us with what we often lack: the awareness of the happiness of existing in every moment.
She is the painter of authentic happiness, wonderfully simple and accessible to all, showing us the way.
