artistic approach
Nature is at the heart of my existence. Since childhood, I have developed a keen sensitivity to scents, colors, transformations, and energies. This connection is a source of wonder and personal enrichment. Painting has become a means for me to immortalize and share the essence of these magical moments.
The immediate meaning of nature, encompassing the plant, animal, and mineral worlds, has evolved into a deeper significance infused with serenity, authenticity, kindness, freedom, and wisdom. I strive to address our urgent need for gentleness, delicacy, sincerity, and joy of living.
By revealing what we often forget to observe and savor, I tryto raise awareness of the happiness of existing in every moment, expressing joyful or tender sensations.
used technique
Opaque acrylic allows me to layer flat colors which, when intertwined, create depth, movement and life.
The various sizes and shapes of my palette knives produce strokes of colorful vibrations that convey all the joy and glow the world has to offer.
I borrow from Nicolas de Staël a refined style, imposing the exclusion of any ornamentation or superfluous detail that might distract from the essential.
From the Fauvist school, I retain a vibrant palette, carefully selecting bright or muted tones among yellows, pinks, and blues.
From the Nabi movement, I embrace synthesis and harmony.
